About Me
I have been childminding since 2006. I am an Ofsted Registered childminder with 3 times outstanding grade. I am a member of Pacey. I have NVQ Level 3 in childcare Learning and Development. I am married and live in Wendover, we have 2 children. I have a loving home with lots of toys and activities for children of all ages. All children who attend my setting learn, develop, and thrive at their own pace. I attend different groups in the village, e.g, toddlers, music group. We also have an allotment directly out of the back of our garden, which provides us with salad, vegetables, and some fruit. We have ducks, cats, rabbits, and fish. I can take your child to and from Crickets Preschool at The John Hampden School, The John Hampden school, Wendover CofE school.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2006. I have 3 times Outstanding Ofsted grade. I am a member of Pacey. I have a NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare and development. I have a food hygiene certificate, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding Certificates. I have to children of my own. I used to be a PA, so I know how important it is to have an understanding and reliable childminder, who I can trust and rely on.

We have been using Karen as our childminder for the past 8 years
Our first son started within the setting just after his 4th birthday, and our second son has been their since he was 3 months old (His nearly 3).
The boys were/are so excited to go each day, Karen only has to come to the door and my little boy's face lights up which I love.
Both myself and my husband work so there are odd occasions when we are late back, but Karen is always accommodating and understanding, and has been so flexible with us
Karen has so much patience (defiantly needed with our youngest) and enthusiasm for her job and such love for the children she cares for.
We get updates daily on what our son's behaviour has been like as well as the activities they have completed or groups they have attended.
We also get EYFS assessments which help us to focus in key areas should it be needed, and Karen is happy to help and guide us when we have had questions
Karen has given and continues to give such great support to myself and my family, she truly is amazing and we generally wouldn't know what to do without her.

We are really happy with Karen’s childminding services.Our son has now been with Karen for 2 years and is extremely happy to go each day and play with the wide variety of toys at the house and attend external group activities at the local playgroups.
Our son has lunch and dinner 5 days per week, which is always a healthy home-cooked meal. He eats really well at Karen's house, much better than at home.
Karen is a great communicator giving updates on his progress both daily with regards to food and wellness and EYFS reporting, allowing us to comment and discuss in person.
Her genuine care and compassion for his growth and development puts us at ease sending him each day and her recent outstanding OFSTED report couldn't be more accurate of the nurturing environment she provides.
