My Summary
About Me
My name is Bea and I am an OFSTED registered childminder & PACEY member providing quality childcare in a safe and caring family environment.
I am flexible and honest and I provide a safe, clean and friendly environment for children to play. I have an abundance of resources that the children can easily access, including books, toys and games. My aim is to work closely with parents to provide a ''home from home environment''.
I was born in Slovakia, but I have lived in UK for the past 15 years. I am in a very stable relationship with my partner who has worked for the Metropolitan Police for the past 12 years. We have two lovely children. A 4 year girl and a 2 year old boy.
I am very positive in my approach and encourage children to take part in imaginative and fun activities such as organised games in the park, nature walks, feeding the ducks, painting and drawing. We also have an allotment plot where the children can help to grow fruit and vegetables together.
I like taking regular visits to farms, the library, and activity clubs as I feel it is important for children to interact with other children and form social bonds.
I believe that children will develop far better in a positive environment with interesting activities that will continue to increase their knowledge and understanding.
My Experience
My previous experience comes from looking after children of various ages both as an au-pair and nanny, babysitter and working as an volunteer in a nursery, but mainly from being a mummy in the last 4,5 years.
So it is my nature to be caring, kind, patient and supportive in all areas.

We feel very fortunate to have found Bea in a very difficult time for our girl, who moved to her care just over 3 months ago at age 2.5 years old. My daughter had been in an outstanding nursery from 11 months old and had many months of difficulty adjusting to the nursery during drop offs with some OK periods in-between until she became very distressed to go following a transition at 2 years old. The nursery did not handle the situation appropriately and we decided to take her out and move her to a more homely environment (following a period of consultation with a specialist psychotherapist). This was the best decision we made regarding our daughter's care as her behaviour completely changed and she is now a very happy girl when going to Bea's home. Bea is very fun and caring but also stimulates autonomy and respectful behaviours among the children, which I really appreciate as a parent. She is very active, enjoys being outdoors with the children no matter the weather and is also super creative. My daughter is always learning something new and I love to see that she gets busy playing in a variety of activities and settings. Most importantly, my daughter has formed a strong bond with Bea and her family and feels secure and happy in their home. Thank you Bea for looking after my girl with so much kindness and care; for that we will be forever thankful!
We have used Bea for almost 2 years for our 2 children now aged 9 and 5. I had never used a child minder before and was nervous about who to use. I am so happy that we found Bea as she has been more than I could ever have hoped for.
She gives 100 % every time and my children adore her and her family. She has been flexible when I have needed to change my hours and she accommodates our changing schedule without any stress.
she has encouraged my childrens' learning and planned activities to meet their individual needs.
She, and her family, are kind, caring and genuinely interested. I am only leaving her service due to moving out of the area but the high standard of care she gives was almost enough to make me stay! I recommend her to any family and am happy to be contacted for references.
Bea has been childminding for my 2.5YO son for a few weeks now and he absolutely loves being there! So much so that at the weekends he asks if he can go back!
Bea is a very attentive, energetic and organised person, who always has time for a chat/debrief about the children she looks after and what they have been doing throughout the day.
She plans fun and educational outings regularly, so I know my son is never bored while there. The food she offers is healthy and tasty, much of it home grown on her allotment.
Of all the childminders I've used before (and there have been a few) Bea is definitely the one I have felt most happy about leaving my son with, as I know he has loads of fun there, is well looked after (safety wise and attention-wise), and they go out so often. Her young daughter and husband are also lovely and it's clear she and her family provide a very caring environment for the children she looks after.
All in all, I think although she is not the most experienced, Bea is a fantastic childminder, who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!
