About Me
I am a New Zealand trained and qualified midwife and I retired in 2021.
I have cared for twins and triplets as a maternity nurse in New Zealand, which included night nannying whilst the parents had some well earned sleep.
I had my own practice as an on call midwife for almost 20 years and loved being with women through their pregnancies and for those first few months after birth. I now have three grown up children who have left home and I'd now like to share my midwifery, childcare and parenting knowledge with new mothers.
I have extensive knowledge of post c-section care, feeding - breast and bottle, growth and development, nutrition, sleep and mothercraft.

My Experience
Midwife and Maternity Nurse
My original experience has been gained in being the first line of support for women, especially in those first weeks after the birth. I visited women in the hospital and home every two to three days, guiding them in all areas of feeding, breast or bottle, emergencies with their baby or self, creating plans and guidelines re feeding and sleep routines.

I am available to provide support for a few hours during the day, a few days per week.
I have a full UK Drivers License and car.
