I am happy to organise all aspects of caring for your child/children which could include taking them to activities, play dates and play schemes, as I believe its highly important for them to be able to develop their social, emotional and physical development. I would spend as much time as possible outside so the child/children can learn new things about the world around them. I enjoy encouraging creative and imaginative play.
My Experience
In my first employment I worked in a Private Nursery for 3 and a half years. I gained alot of experience, and worked with all age groups ranging from 5 months to 5 years.
After leaving the nursery I have worked with many families looking after children from the ages 3 months to 8 years. I have had lots of experience organising daily activities which are age appropriate, from playing indoors to garden play and going to a variety of playgroups. I also help run the family home, cooking, ironing, washing the children's clothes and bedding and overall keeping the surroundings clean. I enjoy assisting parents with weaning and preparing lots of healthy meals. I have also attended baby clinics and doctors appointments when needed. Within many of my roles I have done school pick ups and drop offs.
I have since had my own child, she is now 22 months old. I have loved becoming a Mum and have enjoyed watching her grow. Id love to bring her along with me to work as she has grown so much being around other children.
My Qualifications
Whilst working in my First position as a Nursery Nurse I managed to complete my NVQ Level 3 in Child Care, Learning and Development within 8 months.
