About Me
hi my name is allison and i am a ofsted registered childminder in the archway area with over 30 years experience of working with children
I am a very out going person with lots of knowledge of children's activities, outings, playgroups and outside play spaces in the north london area. i also have a garden with lots of resources.
I love to keep busy and make the most of each day. happy children, happy parents and routines are a key point of our day . daily information is kept on children and shared with parents. i do profile books for the children with art work and photos a lovely memory book.
I am a British citizen and I have two children of my own. who are 23 and 21 who are both youth workers and have lots of training, included first aid, safe guarding and health and safety. my daughter who helps me some days is also special needs trained.

i work with parents and keeping each other informed is important.

My Experience
I have 37 years experience with newborns - 18 years, plus some maternity nursing experience. i was a nanny for 25 years.before changing to child minding.
twins experience and looking after 3 or more children at once
Sole charge and mothers help experience too.
Voluntary experience in playgroups and children center running art sessions.
we love art and craft activities and have plenty of fun around messy and tactile play as well as learning through playing with a variety of toys and materials.
i have experience with children with various allergies and medical needs and work with parents about what children can and can not have or what medication needs giving.
i have training in administrating various medicines due to a child's medical needs
look after sen children also.
i have worked with children with special needs and have qualifications in special needs.
My Qualifications
NNEB(level 3 in childcare) first aid, spoken english and drama, cooking o level, face painting, health and safety, child protection, was a director of art and craft group,
Makaton (level 3) sign language,level 3 in childminding and food and hygiene (2).
SEN trained and qualified.
lots of other courses like life at two, managing child's behaviour. and many more.
all courses are updated regularly
My Availability
Can offer full or part time places for children of any age. childminding available.in the school holidays hours and days to suit. can try and be as flexible as possible
