About Me
I am a self-employed Childminder working in my own home, I am registered to care for six children under eight as well as over eights. I have been Childminding for over 18 years and
have achieved two Outstandings and two Goods at my Ofsted Inspections.
I also provide school drop off and pick up from Bandon Hill Primary school.
I constantly aim to provide the best possible care for the children in my setting, their safety and wellbeing always being my upmost priority. I strive to create a warm welcoming environment so children feel secure, safe and cared for, always ensuring consistently high levels of clean and hygienic practice. I have a good range of equipment and high quality toys to meet the children's needs. I have a good relationship with the parents ensuring they are fully informed of their child's achievements and daily activities, as well as keeping in line with parents' wishes and feelings. All regulatory documentation is well recorded. I provide stimulating play activities, nutritious snacks and meals. I attend various toddler groups, library story times, soft play centres, singing groups as well as going to the park and farm trips. I have a fully enclosed garden available for outside play which has slide, trampoline, sand pit and various other toys.
My Experience
I have cared for children from 5 months to 11 years old.
I worked part time as a community Childminder for the Children’s Daycare Team of Sutton Social Services from Jan 2008 – January 2009, caring for a 15month old boy with delayed development.

I have attended courses on the four themes which guide the work of all early years practitioners for the Early Years Foundation Stage, A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, Learning and Development.
