I have always been around children and a keen interest in child development. Over 10+ years childcare experience in a range of settings.
I have taken a break from nannying but have availibility.
Outgoing and friendly. I am very much into healthy living. I love the outdoors and do a lot of landscape photography and hillwalking/cycling and wild camping, in my spare time.
I am a trained Doula and abdominal Therapist and work part time- two days a week in Glasgow.
My Experience
I am a 36 year old scottish female with nearly 10 years childcare experience through a range of different environments.
My work history started when i was a mother's help for 5 years then decided to pursue nannying, professionally, in London.
Since then i have been working part time for few families in Glasgow.
I am creative, friendly, adaptable and love working with kids.
I make a great network of nannies and other children, similar ages in the area. I love the outdoors and make sure children have ample time to explore new environments.
I understand that child development is very important and work along side parents to encourage and nurture each child.
I always cook fresh meals and am very creative so never run out things to do!
My Qualifications
I have been working with children continuously for 10 years and feel I have gained a great amount of experience from different roles as a childcarer.
Some time spent working as a project coordinator at a primary school, working with the school's and government's developmental guidelines For ages 5-10.
Doing workshops and craft days for children aged 2-6.
Worked alongside a maternity nurse for 6 months.
Postnatal Doula.
Newborn, toddler and twin experience.
Pediatric first aid trained.
Allergies and medication experience.
Special needs experience.
PVG member.
