About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 25 years.
I am also a qualified Swimming Instructor and teach children to swim at Malden Centre and Shrewsbury House. I have done this for 20 years
I live with my fiance who is a charge Nurse at Kingston Hospital so i have plenty of experience caring for nurses children also Police Officers.
I was graded Good at my last inspection just before Covid.
I therefore offer flexible hours as i know how important this is to parents working long days and on shifts patterns.
I offer a safe, fun and constructive home setting. I attend playgroups and we visit parks, softplays, go fruit picking at Garson Farm, have picnics and visit various other places. I have a full life saving qualification along with various other qualifications and i am Quality Assured. References are available from all past and present parents.
My home has a very large garden so plenty of space for the children to have lots of fun.
I was a comittee member on Kingston Childminding Association for many years up until recently when i moved boroughs.
I work on Monday to Thursdays and will be offering the funding.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 25 years, I have two grown up children who dont live at home.
I have lots of experience with caring for babies,and children of school age and i follow the Early Years Foundation Stage..I also have experience in caring for children with special needs and learning difficulties.
My Qualifications
I was a Quality Assured childminder with a range of qualifications ranging from working with children with disabilities, icp, and i have attended numerous courses. I also hold a very extensive life saving qualification covering babies up to adulthood.
I regularly update my qualifications and i follow the Early Years Foundation for every child in my care.
My Availability
I am available from 7.15 am- 5.30 Monday to Thursdays.
I am available for drop off and collection to Danetree School.
