My Summary
About Me
Hello!
I'm delighted you are reading our profile.
We are AgasDayCare and we are a childminding setting located in Dollis Hill area, few minutes walk from Dollis Hill tube station and Gladstone Park.
Me (Aga) and my friend Aneta and Theresa who are my assistants, provide all day care for children in our home setting. Our setting was established in September 2014. Since then we have seen many children join us as tiny babies and leave as confident, curious 2/3 year olds, ready to face the new adventure, which is nursery.
We give the sense of home with strong routine and consistency in care, that is based on many years of our experience as childcare professionals. We follow children's interest in our planning and use our knowledge about them in choosing resources and equipment for activities. Our days are filled with a good balance of child led and adult led activities. This has worked really well for us so far and children at our setting quickly gain confidence and are happy exploring the surroundings!
We have dedicated the ground floor of our house to children and offer a very well equipped and stimulating playroom, and separate room for sleep time. Kitchen has a dining area, where we serve very tasty/nutritious meals which will tempt even the most fussy eater. This area is also used as a location for messy play, creative endeavours and texture exploration.
We provide parents with advice and support from day one. Great communication and trust have been crucial in making sure that we all work in harmony to provide the best care for each child. We understand the unique needs of all children and respond to them accordingly. Over the years we have developed great relationships with families, that continue on till this day, some in form of an occasional sleepover, some in few recent photos sent our way. We take great pride in the contribution we make, in assuring that the children we care for are equipped with skills, that will help them do well and succeed in later life.
My Experience
I've been working as an Ofsted registered nanny since 2007, but have previous childcare experience from my home country, Poland, where I finished faculty of pedagogy at the university of Rzeszow and gained masters degree diploma that is recognised in UK.
My studies gave me the background to work as a childcare professional from a theoretical perspective, and my nanny work and being a mum gave me the confidence to excel at what I do.
I always remember about children's health and their safety but also making sure they are happy and developing well. I am a professional person providing childcare in a very welcoming and secure environment of my home.
I can provide excellent references from our current and past families.
My Qualifications
I have a University degree from Poland that has been recognised in UK by Naric. I finished a faculty of pedagogy at the University of Rzeszow and gained Masters Degree Diploma.
In order to fulfil Ofsted registration requirements I have attended and completed Introduction to Home based childcare training (CYPOP 5 ) run by local authorities. Since then I have committed to making sure that our setting is run in a very professional and safe manner, and to achieve that I have attended the following courses and workshops:
# MAKATON FOR PROFESSIONALS; FOUNDATION WORKSHOP
#FOOD HYGIENE FOR PVI EARLY YEARS SETTINGS AND CHILDMINDERS
#CREATING CHALLENGING AND ENJOYABLE ADULT LED ACTIVITIES FOR 0-2years old
#CHILD PROTECTION FOR EARLY YEARS PRIVATE AND VOLUNTARY SETTINGS
#COMMON ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK (CAF) TRAINING FOR EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONERS
#PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID WITH ST.JOHNS AMBULANCE
To comply with CPD requirements we all regularly attend industry related trainings and complete online courses. This also helps us to always keep up to date with the changing regulations and requirements from either Ofsted or Department for Education.

Aga has a lovely setting. A great outdoor space and lots of toys. My daughter has enjoyed so much going to Aga’s every morning. She has learned and developed a lot.
Aga is very responsible and communication is very easy. My daughter will miss going to Aga. She comes home in such a good mood, with a smile i. Her face telling me how much she loves beeing there everyday and all activities they have done together. Aga has also potty trained both my son and daughter and has been so smooth! I can’t recommend enough! Thank you Aga and team for looking after Lili all these years!!! We will miss you!

My oldest came to Aga for a little over a year and I only saw a happy boy being encourage to be his best self. He learned, he played, he enjoyed. He was treated was so much care and love that when it was time to send my 11 month old to childcare, I did it with confidence and love. Everybody at Aga's childminder has been lovenly taking care of all the children there. My boys love to attend and it is beautiful having them being part of how they are growing.
The facilities are great, they encourage kids to try things themselves, they teach the kids with fun and imagination. Home made meals. The list is never ending of all the good things Aga, Aneta, Teresa and Ali offer.
We will love you all always, and we are so happy to work with you in raising the boys

We discovered Aga recently and wish we had known about her earlier! The facilities are fantastic, with lots of space, great activities, tonnes of toys and a large garden. Aga and her team have created a warm, caring environment which i would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Aga highly enough. She looked after my son from 11 months until 3 years old and if we had not moved out of the area I would also have left my second, 12 month old son in her care. Aga and Ally are both very professional and give 100% to their role and the care provided to children in their care. They are very child focused and hands on with the children and are aware of all of the children's individual needs. My son loved going to Aga's and I watched him grow an develop so much while in her care. They provide a range of fun & stimulating age appropriate activities for the children and their setting is really lovely; like a little nursery. There are clear routines in place which my son really responded to, but Aga and Ally are also very flexible and adapt things according to the child's individual needs. The atmosphere is warm and nurturing and Aga is very good at communicating with parents, providing regular feedback on a daily basis and more detailed 'reports' as children reach different milestones. As a parent and childcare social worker I can honestly say that any child left in Aga's care will feel safe, secure and nurtured and develop a good basis for building future relationships and friendships. They are both amazing!

I have been using Aga's Day Care since my son was 11 months old, and if I were not moving house then I would surely have stayed with her without a doubt.
My son has been with Aga for a year now and from the first day he started I feel completely at ease and trust with her and her Husband who is also the other Minder.
We were provided with a diary of his daily activities, a food menu and a chart to show how many nappy changes he had when he was a baby. On top of this we were also sent photos of our son regularly showing the activities he was doing and how much fun he had. He really has made some good friends at Agas day care and her and her husband really have helped improve my son's development seeing as he is there Full Time.
Each day he learns some new skills and they have helped him feed independently and talk/learn lots of new words. My son absolutely loves it there and it definitely made my transition back into work much easier.
I am very disappointed and sad to leave Agas and definitely recommend her Chilcare Services to anyone who is in need of one in the area.
