About Me
Hi my name is Lorraine Martin and I have lived near Tattenham Corner (Chapel Way) since 2000 and got married the same year.
I have 2 daughters, one born 2005 and the other 2010.
I am happy to have full days/half days and term time or all year round.
I offer a very friendly home from home environment and a wide range of toys indoors and outdoors.
I also go to Toddler Groups, soft play, parks, library during the week and during the school holidays vary the days out ie beach, farms and much more.
My Ofsted graded inspection is a 'good' and I intend to work hard so that every child I mind enjoys every minute of their experience/time here.
I do now work with my eldest daughter, she is my assistant, she’s first aid trained and a full DBS as well as safeguarding completed.
My Experience
My experience is bringing up my own 2 children since 2005.
I have been minding since June 2013 and received a grade 2 'good' for my inspection!

My little one has been with Lorraine since she was 11 months old ( now turning 3).... to say that Lorraine is amazing is an understatement.
From day one Lorraine cared for my little one like if she was one of her own, she takes her to playgroups, libraries, and when the weather is nice they go out exploring.
My little one loves going to Lorraines in fact she gets very excited every day we take her.
Lorraine has become and extension of our family without a doubt.
Lorraine keeps us informed every day on our little ones activities, we get photos and Lorraine is very understanding and accomodating should we ever need to swap days due to our work/life schedules.
We would higly recomend Lorraine, our very own Mary Poppins

I have now had my daughter with Lorraine since jan 2017, Lorraine and her family look after my little like she was part of their family, Lorraine is very caring and loving.
My little one is always very excited to see Lorraine which is great feedback in itself, i get lovely feedback and updates of what they have been up to, playgroups, park, etc
I would very highly recommend Lorraine, she and her family have become and extension of ours.
We would be lost with out her.

My little boy is 10 months old and Lorraine looks after him 5 days a week as I work full time. She is absolutely amazing. he is so happy and we never have any issues dropping him off. He settled incredibly quickly with Lorraine and is busy everyday going to the park, playgroups etc. She send me pictures at work so that I know what they are up to and the online system she uses is great so we can see what they have been doing each day. Being a full time working mum can be hard but Lorraine makes it easy as he is so happy and she is so amazing with him.
I have used childminders before with my 2 eldest and can honestly say that the service Lorraine provides is far superior. I would 100% recommend. She provides a home from home and I love knowing that he is treated as part of the family. I cannot sing her praises enough. I am so glad we found her.

Lorraine has looked after my 2 year old daughter Hollie for over 18 months now. Hollie absolutely adores Lorraine and her family. It's like a home from home and Hollie settled from day 1. I would highly recommend Lorraine, in fact my friends daughter now goes to her too :)
Lorraine is very friendly, welcoming and I have total peace of mind when I go to work. Hollie does so much when she's with Lorraine and has many adventures from playgroups to fun in the park, or a visit to see reindeers at Christmas, one of many days out Hollie gets to enjoy in her care.
I am very lucky to have found Lorraine she's just perfect for my princess!
