About Me

I live in Sidcup/ Blackfen area. I am married with 3 children, 4 grandsons whom I look after and take to school. I live close to Sidcup main line station and have various bus routes by me. Free parking in main road, great for station commutes.

I am a registered childminder and have availability for children aged birth to 8 years. I have availability for immediate start. Ofsted rated as ‘GOOD’ In November 2023

I have always had contact with children over the years, whilst bringing up my own children, and having a wide circle of childminder friends. I had childminded many years ago for friends and relations, I did this for a number of years before going to work at a Pre school.

I am available for school drop off and pick ups, school local to me include Holy Trinity ( my main school) ,Chatsworth , Chatsworth nursery, Burnt Oak .
Sorry do not do Birkbeck drop offs / pick ups.

My aim will be to provide a home from home environment for the children. I offer a warm caring and stimulating environment , where every child in my care will feel safe and secure. Each child will be given the chance to develop physically, socially and emotionally whilst in my care.

Childrens will be able to do cooking, planting, gardening , water and sand play. Arts and crafts on a weekly basis ( painting, messy play, cutting and sticking). We have quite time where the children can look at books ,play board games ( age permitting) puzzles etc. TV is limited but allowed . I always encourage independence for the children allowing them to make their own choices with the things that they do and always offer praise to boost their confidence .

I also have a black Labrador called Jasper and 2 tortoises.
We will visit local groups and parks so that the children can socialise with others. We will go on regular dog walk with Jasper..
