About Me
I am a proud mum to 3 professional adults, so have lots of experience covering from newborn babies through to adolescent teenagers and everything in between!
I live in a quiet part of Dagenham close to parks and public transport links to most local destinations.
I can provide drop off and collection to Southwood Primary School and Nursery, which is very close to my setting.
I run a childminders support group as I think it is very important that childminders are able to meet up regularly and for their minded children to mix with other children.
My Experience
I have 29 years experience and am an Accredited childminder able to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of Funded Early Years Education places to 2, 3 and 4 year olds, including babies aged 9 months from September 2024. I use an online system to provide parents with 'live feed' information, so you can check how your child's day is going whilst in my homely setting. I have adapted my practice to take into account all the OFSTED changes to the regulations that have taken place since I first became a registered childminder. I have provided care for babies from age 6 weeks up to young people aged 15. I have had many inspections since registering and each one has been Good, for which I am very proud to be judged as being consistently Good. My last graded inspection in May 2018 rated me OUTSTANDING in the section: Personal development, behaviour and welfare, and GOOD as the overall judgement. (My inspection in March 2024 was graded MET as I had no children under 5 years on roll at that time)
My Qualifications
I am educated to A level standard. I have a level 3 Diploma in Homebased Chldcare. I regularly update my qualifications for paediatric first aid, food safety & hygiene, safeguarding, fire safety, EYFS and have attended training on just about every topic to help me perform my job to the highest standards.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. I may be able to cover shift patterns if they fit in with my commitments to the other families that I provide care for.
I cover Southwood Primary School and Nursery.

This lady is amazing... My daughter has been in her care for a few months now and is learning so much and is so out going now she goes to different activities and has become a totally different child. She is happy to go there every morning big smiles, Sheila is one in a million... Taking care of my baby she meets all her needs plus much more. She has now stated saying words, always available never let's me down. gives great advice and support. Sheila I really appreciate all that you continue to do for my baby thank you x
