About Me
Hello! I’m Verity, 33, with ten years experience of working in Early Years settings and a Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education. I now work full time as a Nursing Associate apprentice in the NHS and will soon go into neonatal care.
I offer evening babysitting on an ad hoc basis, for local families. I am a relatively new driver with my own car.
I have experience of working with babies and children aged from four months. You can find further details of my training and qualifications below.

My Experience
I have some experience of caring for children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) for a variety of reasons including SEN, speaking English as a second language, and hearing difficulties. I therefore have some knowledge of Makaton signing, which is a particular passion of mine. I also hope to learn British Sign Language (BSL) to further develop communication skills with children and patients with SLCN.
My Qualifications
Mandatory annual NHS training including Paediatric Resuscitation and Basic Life Support.
Qualifications:
Currently studying FdSc Health and Social Care (Nursing Associate pathway)
NHS Care Certificate
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
A levels in English Literature, French, Spanish, and Sociology.
9 GCSEs at grades A*-C.
My Availability
Evenings only on my days off, starting from seven o’clock. The days will vary as I work shifts. Please contact me to ask about specific dates.
