My Requirements

We are looking for either a part time nanny, or childminder, to pick kids up from school in the afternoon and look after them at home til 6pm, Monday to Thursday.

We are full time working parents and need help mainly in the afternoons, and are open to morning help, if it works for all. Afternoon is key. School is about 5mins drive or a 20minute walk. We would need the nanny/childminder to have the ability, and flexibility, to drive the kids to their after-school activities such as swimming, Piano etc., all local to us (within 10 miles). Kids school finishes at 3.15pm.

Our children are 8 and 11, and are reasonably self-sufficient, but will need support with homework, and extra curricular activities. Some evenings we would require their dinner to be made for them, and all days they will need snacks.

Helping around the house with chores, and cleaning up after the kids would be expected, and we are open to this being before school pick-up. We will occasionally travel with work, therefore, we will need for you to stay later than 6pm, this will be informed in advance.

Our current nanny, of 4.5 years, is moving away from the area, and given her notice. We have experience with nannies who were employed by us, and those set up providing a service. Our preference is service, but happy with either.

The nanny/childminder must be fluent in English, CRB/DBS checked or be able to do so before starting, plus have references from previous families. We would need for you to have your own car. Start by 19th February 2024.
