About Me
Hi! My name is Etiene. I am a 35 years old married woman from Brazil.
I am a person who is eager to care for children as I will have the chance of ensuring their proper development. I really enjoy playing with them and going out as I am not keen to stay indoors for long period of time, which is good for the kids, as I like taking them out for fun activities.
I wish to be a role model for them and provide for their needs, specially their emotional needs. I am responsible, very punctual, non-smoker and non-drinker. I am also creative, truthful, skilled with hand-crafting activities and our strong point here is healthy and balanced meals meals every day and structured routine with good sleeping time :)
I am in the journey of being healthy for a long time, and after having my kids (I have an amazing 4 years old boy who goes to school and an adorable 2 years old girl who is with us having fun with her little friends), it just made more sense.
I am a very experienced childcarer (work in the UK since 2013).
Fully registered (04/09/2020) with Ofsted and was recently rated "Good" provider by Ofsted (Inspection was on the 18th of January 2023).
Although I was rated "Good" the inspector said She was willing to give me "Outstanding" and the only reason She couldn't do it, was due to my Paediatric FirstAid renewal training wasn't complete (I had Covid on the date and She came 2 days before my new renovation date - which is done now). So I am happy to say that I was considered by her in practice an "Outstanding" provider!!!!

My Experience
I worked as a Teacher Assistant in Brazil for three years. The children I cared for, were from two to six year-old.
I was always kind but also set clear boundaries and ensured that those were followed.
I have also been a full time professional gospel singer, in Brazil, since the age of 13. I believe that music is very important for children's education and I enjoy singing and dancing with them to develop their emotions, cognitive behaviour and motor skills.
Our home is a very calm, clean and with great atmosphere for young children. My husband is a Social Worker with experience in Child Protection and this just adds me knowledge and confidence that children will be safe and protected, as it's our highest priority. He is also included on my Osfted registration DBS.
About my experience in the UK:
Since July 2013 until I had my 1st baby, I worked as a nanny for many families, with different ages. The youngest child was 7 months old and oldest was 8 years old. I have a lot of experience with toddlers and also with young babies. I can provide good references on request but what I can say is, I always had a good relationship with all families I worked with, as we always worked based on trust, honesty and fairness.
As a childminder, I hope this will continue, as we have the same interest: Provide a healthy and enjoyable home to home experience, with a suitable environment for children to develop well.

Eti looked after my two young children for 6 months. She got them ready in the morning, did the nursery and school run and, fed them and entertained them until we got back from work. As soon as I met Eti I knew I wanted her to look after my children. She is very responsible, caring and most of all creative and imaginative and bring out the best in the children. She always made up creative plays and got the children involved in dancing and singing. They were always in a good spirit in Eti's presence. She is also a great cook and all for health eating. I would highly recommend her.
