About Me
Hi I'm Michelle I live in Temple Park, Binfield, Berkshire. I have been a registered Childminder for nearly 18 years and have now received 2 OUTSTANDING grades from Ofsted. Unfortunately at this present time i have no full time availability.
I have three children of my own daughter 27 who completed 3 years at Exeter University and came out with a first class honours degree in Maths with Economics and two sons 26 who after leaving uni got a job working in London and a 20 yr old who is store manager at Pets Corner and am a stepmum to three ages 28, 25 and 24. My husband currently works for Sainsburys. We have two chocolate Labradors Poppy and Pippa. Both have grown up surrounded by kids and as a result are wonderful with them, please do not be put off coming to meet me by seeing I have dogs they are truly lovely and the children I have at present love them to bits. We have chickens in the garden plus a rabbit and guinea pigs. Also we have a pot belly house pig called Gus whom the children adore.
I have a large playroom where most of the activities take place, and all of the ground floor of my house is used for childminding purposes. We have a relatively large enclosed garden which houses a sandpit, allotment a place for the children to grow veg and a mud kitchen also we have a play house, ride on toys and in the summer months a small paddling pool for the little ones. I have over 27 yrs experience in raising and caring for my own children, and have been registered for over 17 years as a childminder.

Unfortunately at this moment I do not have any full time spaces available.
Also have after school vacancies available pick up from Meadowvale Primary School over 8s only.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £65 per day including meals
Half fee is charged for any holidays

Finding Michelle really has been a godsend. My daughter, Lottie is 17 months and has been going to Michelle since her first birthday. She LOVES it there and is very keen to go and play at Michelle's now I'm back at work. Michelle is patient, caring and kind and knows exactly what Lottie needs. She works with us on anything we're developing with Lottie and engages her in art, craft, cooking and active play. I didn't want to leave my little girl with anyone, but I am totally confident leaving her with Michelle and I know she will be as well cared for as she is at home. Michelle's daily diaries are comprehensive and funny and I feel like I've spent the day there with her. Thank you, Michelle - Lottie loves you and we love that we found you x

Sadly today was my daughter Bella's last day with Mummy Michelle, I always encouraged her to call Michelle that as she is more than just a childminder, she doesn't treat your children like a business, she loves and cares for your children and treats them just like one of her own. Bella has been with Michelle for 3 years and in that time Michelle has been a tower of strength to all of us, you couldn't ask for a better person to love, care for and nurture your child. Nothing is too big, too small or too much for Michelle she is the most loving, caring and fun person to be around and always has something up her sleeve for the children to do from making cards to life size cut outs of themselves. Her progress reports are very informative and it's lovely to read about how your child is when they are not with you, it's also satisfying to know that Michelle will help in any way to tweak any problems that you have like eating habits, potty and toilet training and will work along side you and support you with all aspects of your child's health and welfare.
I am so glad I met Michelle and that she has helped shape my beautiful daughter into a happy, confident young girl who is now ready to start nursery, I feel grateful to have known Michelle and would gladly recommend her to anyone. I know as your reading this you probably think it's fake or it's too good to be true but it's not and you would be mad to pass up the opportunity of letting this wonderful lady and her family into your lives and if the opportunity arises for Bella to go back to Michelle I wouldn't think twice.

Friday was the last day Summer spent with Michelle and when we left it was tears all round...mainly from me!!! I will miss Michelle a great deal as she has been an intergeral part of mine and Summers life for over a year now.
When I first joined this site I put an advert about my needs up and within 24 hours Michelle had shown an interest in me. Due to this initiative that she had shown i was immediately interested and by the next day I had met her and visited her home and set up an aggrement for Summer to be cared for by her. Michelle was warm and open and exactly what I had been looking for in a childminder for my daughter.
The house is fantastic, nice and spacious with plenty to stimulate children of all ages. Garden is put to good use too. It is hard to tell who is part of Michelles family and who is in her care....because everyone is treated as part of the family!! Due to this close knit family environment, I believe that summer has developed rapidly and has thrived in the time she has spent at Michelles. Summer is very advanced in lots of ways, potty trained, excellent vocabulary and communication skills are second to none for a child of her age. The evidence of the activities that Michelle does with the children is seen in the songs they learn, friends they talk about and the day to day journal Michelle writes is comprehensive and a real treat to read at the end of the month.
Summer has been visiting Michelle for over a year now as a day childminder part time. Over that time I have increased and changed the hours and days which I required from Michelle. This has always been catered for without any fuss. Michelle is good value for money and the meal costs are good too.
Michelle is child orientated in all aspects of her life and she has been nothing but a perfect childminder for Summer. I highly recommend her. Summer and I will miss her greatly and only wish she would move with us when our family relocates!!
