About Me
I am a childminder that loves my job! I love the energy, innocence and honesty of children. Everyday is new and exciting not only for me but for the children in my care too. I take the children to parks, playgroups, soft plays, farms and we love a good nature walk too in all kinds of weather:)
My house is child friendly and safe. My garden caters for children of all ages and abilities.
I am a mum to 3 grown up boys (13, 16 & 20). I work hard to cater for you as a parent and to give you what you want and need for your children.
I am OFSTED inspected, DBS checked, a certified first aider and complete my diploma in young people and children in the workforce.

My daughter is 18 months and she’s been going to Sheena since she was 11months, we simply love Sheena for her kindness, patience, positive energy. She always organises amazing day out for kids, has fantastic routine that helps my daughter have proper naps every day. Could not praise her more. Sheena is the best!!!!!

My son goes to Sheena two days a week and has been going since 12 months. She has been flexible and supportive when I have increased my work hours. I knew she was the right person to care for my son when we went to meet her and he just hung on her every word and felt relaxed and confident playing with all her toys and her lovely children.
Sheena has a busy playroom with everything you could possibly want for your child. She has a large garden full of resources and regularly plans for messy play, art, sensory play, and takes the children to the farm, soft plays, swimming etc at no extra cost. My son adores her, is happy to be left in her care and sometimes cries when we have to say goodbye. He has grown in confidence and she has picked up on his interests and abilities and runs with them. He naps in his own room and always sleeps well and eats everything she gives him. He has a dairy allergy and she has been very accommodating.
Sheena sends us detailed reports and photos at the end of each day, all linked to the Early Years curriculum, and will send texts and photos during the day if I am worried or emotional about leaving him! I honestly don't know how we would have coped without Sheena and recommend her without hesitation. She makes me feel more confident as a working mother.

Sheena was our childminder for a year until my daughter went to preschool. She really came out of her shell in Sheena's care and grew in confidence around her peers, despite going through some pretty major life changes for a little girl during that time (new house in a new area, potty training and a new baby brother). Sheena provides a home-from-home environment for kids and is a warm, caring, fun person who children make a beeline for. I was always confident that my daughter was safe, supported and happy on the days she was with her. Sheena was also very accommodating and flexible around my freelance work, which was a godsend. We felt like we'd landed on our feet when we found her!

Sheena is highly reliable and very passionate about her job. She is very organised and makes sure that the children always have loads of fun times. My 2 boys, age 5 and 2 enjoy spending time with her and always love going back to 'Sheena's house' :)
I would personally highly recommend Sheena as a child minder and trust her 100%.
