My Experience
I’m Donna and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I worked as a nannie for 18 years.
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since October 2004.
I also worked in a nursery part time for 2 years, mainly in the baby and toddler rooms.
I have looked after a variety of ages and I have a lot of experience with babies and toddlers.
I have twin experience from age 1-3 years.

I’m Charmaine and I am registered as an assistant childminder to work with Donna.
I have been in childcare for over ten years, most recently working in a nursery for 6 years. In that time I have studied my level three in early years education and worked as a room leader for ages 1-4 from the toddler room to preschool.
I have plenty of experience working with children of different ages.
My reason for becoming a childminder assistant now is the fact I love the care provided in a home environment, our children benefit emotionally coming from home to home, I feel a smaller environment is more beneficial to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
My Qualifications
We have both completed approved Paediatric First Aid in May 2023 as well as Safeguarding and Child Protection.
Donna is Ofsted registered and Charmaine is Level 3 qualified in Early Years.
My Availability
WE HAVE 2 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR SEPTEMBER 2025
We have part time and full time availability.
We are happy to accept Childcare Vouchers as well as Government Funding.
We have a large garden with lots of outdoor equipment.
We love spending time outside with the children whether it be picnics in the park, local walks to the library, feeding the ducks or just exploring in our large garden.

Donna and Charmaine are looking after my son since 2020, looking after him 5 days a week.
We are extremely happy with the care my son is receiving . They are always welcoming and well organised. My son settled in very quickly and is very happy to see them every morning.
They provide a wide range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise as well as walks to the parks. My child loves playing in the lovely big garden.
They are great communicators encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home.
Providing from home to home lovely and caring environment was the key thing for us. As full time working parents we know that they are always flexible, reliable and supporting.
We are very happy to have them and would highly recommend them !

Donna has been a fantastic childminder to my little girl, unfortunately we’ve had to say goodbye as we’re leaving the country.
I couldn’t recommend her highly enough, she made my return to work less stressful. My little girl adapted very quickly, she would get excited every morning we got to the door, I could also see my daughters reaction to the rest of the family, she loved all of them, which said it all to me, I would drop her off happy knowing she was happy.
I am so glad I went to Donna rather than going to a nursery. Donna takes the children out to playgroups, the library or the park, she also has a lovely big garden where the children can play and she provides a loving, caring and homely atmosphere for the children. I felt like my daughter was apart of her family.
If we ever come back to London she’ll be first person I call!

Donna has provided exceptional care for our daughter who started with her at 10 months old. We had previously experienced a couple of day care disasters but by the end of the first session we Donna had illustrated her caring and professional nature.
Donna does varied activities with the children and provides excellent feedback at the end of each day. Her home environment is welcoming and I get the feeling all of the children are treated like family. Her organisation outstanding.
I wish we could stay until our daughter is school age and older but my new work commitments mean that the travel would be too much. I thoroughly recommend Donna as a childminder for your little ones and we are so sorry to be leaving. No one will match up!

Donna has cared for both our boys, Daniel who's now 2 and Ben who is 4, for the past two years nearly. Our boys absolutely adore her and her family. There hasn't been a single day in those two years that they have not wanted to go to Donna's. Now to me that says everything.
Donna takes the children out to playgroups regularly. She has a number of other children around at different times - including her own - and this has provided a wonderfully stimulating environment for my boys.
The huge garden is a great hit in the summer months and Tim, donnas husband, has always been very happy to show my two how to weed or sow seeds for his tomatoe plants. He is great with the kids aswell.
Donna is extremely reliable, very loving towards the children, has clear and consistant boundaries and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
The only reason we are moving on is because we are moving out of the area. We are keeping our youngest with her one day a week - we're not ready to cut our ties completely yet.

I met jane1969 this week and was very impressed with her warm, professional approach. I am used to recruiting people to work with children and got a great vibe from her. Her references are very good and she has a huge garden with great toys. We have had to change our mind about childcare at the eleventh hour, so wont be employing jane but I still felt compelled to write a review. Go and meet her if you can!
