About Me
I am a hard working married mum of 4 grown up children. I really enjoy walking, being active and spending time with my family and friends. I also thrive on learning new things and like to keep myself up to date within the Childcare Sector. I attended the University of Leeds and graduated with a Foundation in Child & Family Studies. I studied this as I became particularly interested in the welfare of children whilst working as an Ofsted Registered Childminder.
I am fully COVID vaccinated

My Experience
I worked as registered Childminder for nearly 10 years (from 2006-2015) and then worked in a children's home for around 12 months. I then went back to work in early years, this time as a Supervisor/Deputy Manager and became a Nursery Manager at a private day nursery in 2018. I have also gained work experience in a primary school, as a children's Victim Support worker and Children's Centre during this time. I also worked very closely with my local Children's Centres and attended play groups and childminding/nanny groups every week for several years as well being a member of the Children's Centre Advisory Board.
