Amazing childminder!

My daughter has been a Duckling since September and during that time she has absolutely thrived within the environment that Donna creates! from having some speech delays to now knowing so many words in just a few months thanks to the personal and amazing support that is given to her! I love the excitement of hearing about what adventures she's been on and the bonds she has made with other children, genuinely couldn't ask for a better childminder! x

Outstanding childminder!!

Our adventure with Ducklings Childminding started over two years ago when my little daughter was only 12 weeks old!
Duckling Childminding is Ofsted registered childminder and provides free hours to 2 and 3 years old children.
Donna and her lovely family welcomed us very warmly and I have been assured I am leaving my precious baby in the best hands! Before Donna got to know my lo, she asked to write down my daughters daily routine, best ways to comfort her. She printed the pictures of the close family members to have it handy when needed.
Every day she was showing me a little diary how much milk my daughter had, how many nappies she did wet and how long her naps were. I've got an access to an online diary where Donna posts the pictures and writes about the progress my daughter makes. She settled in really well!
I see a smile on my daughters face every single day when I am coming to fetch her and I know she had a good day. Every single morning when I am dropping her off she gives Donna a hug and I am assured she's happy and safe!
Duckling Childminding takes her little ducklings to many different activities and playgroups like dance,singing, sensory play,story reading, yoga, farm and forest visits and many many more I can't think of at the moment. She's being very active with kids and she lets develop children their individual interests.
She attends different trainings and courses for childminders, keeps up to date with the safeguarding/first aid trainings and implements the knowledge into the sessions!
She never let me down, given a professional advice when needed when my child went through a different development stages.

Choosing a childminder is a big decision and I know I have made the best choice!! I truly recommend Duckling Childminding!!

Great activities

It has been more than 1 year since we started and we have constantly seen progress on our child. The activities are so various, from yoga for children to farm visits, from dancing classes to joining story groups, etc. We are so happy and thankful to have found you. Thank you

Outstanding Childcare!

Putting your child into the care of another person is a huge deal for parents, you can never quite be sure what to expect. We tried a nursery for our son initially but at 10 months old it was far too much for him and he left looking tired, worn and unhappy every evening and we decided we wanted a more homely feel.

Then we found Donna at Ducklings! Donna's setting is perfect, it provides a total home from home environment and you can see that Donna truly cares for each and every child she looks after. She is on hand to help develop your individual child. For example when my son was starting crawling she took him to soft play centers so that he could try, fall and not hurt himself. She notes current favorite toys and encourages them to play with them or even paint with them (cars through paint!).

Not only that but she and her lovely daughter develop a wonderful bond with your child which makes you feel totally at ease when you drop them off, less guilty for leaving them, safe in the knowledge they're happy and well looked after. Thank you x

When I started I wanted to provide a home from home but stimulating and interesting setting for the children I care for and I think this review sums up exactly what I had hoped to achieve, I'm proud my home and family are both welcoming and friendly to all the children.

Very passionate

So friendly and clearly very passionate in what she does! My kids were right at home within 2 minutes of walking through the door! Lovely variety of activities for the kids, and someone who really cares!
