Harleigh settled well in the setting harleigh like to play with the equipment and toys provided I am unable to rate food when we provide for our children other than that's everything was as seems lovely home not had a problem with drop off and pick up.

Dawn is a very experienced childcare provider and it's been great having my son being able to go to Riggles and Giggles.
Dawn provides a unique service as she's helped me with overnight and wraparound care which is very unusual in my area and has been so helpful.
Dawn also has a really lovely setting with loads of toys, games and facilities for young children.

I messaged Dawn regarding availability due to issues with my current provider.
Although I didn't need her services in the end, I can't thank Dawn enough for her help and professionalism throughout and would have no hesitation in using her should my needs change.

Dawn is the first childminder that looked after my 10mo son. I had been stressed for no reason. They took of like a house on fire. Dawn is very experinced with children and helped me through the bits I wasn't sure of (nutrition, teething ect.) I can't praise her enough. Very flexible with time. Higly recommend to enyone who is considering a childminder.

My 5 years old has been going for nearly a year now and she loves it and always looks forward to going. We get plenty of updates and photos each time my child attends.
Dawn has been accomodating with our requirements as they have changed a bit over the year and she also gives plenty of notice with any changes.

Unfortunately not a good review due to a very bad first experience trying to get my first baby into this childminders.
To start we had agreed to 2 days a week which were accepted with open arms, Unfortunately a few days later we were informed only 1 day would be available due to another baby being in on the other day so we accepted and were happy to go along with one day a week. We set up for a meet with Dawn to talk about her setting and a settling in aswell as a 7 hour day. All 3 were then cancelled hours before we were due to turn up meaning we then had to mess around with rotas at work and change them again as we had set up for the days. When I messaged Dawn nicely might I add regarding the fact that it was inconvenient for cancelling a hour before hand and unfortunately we would have to go elsewhere as we needed stability I then received a nasty message, lots of excuses and her telling me good luck finding childcare and that she was looking forward to her Fridays now they were free. Very sad as I wanted this to be a good experience being a new parent and I understand childminders need to go on courses, I've been in childcare myself for 15+ years, however when things are booked in I didn't find it quite right and didn't expect the response from a childminder.
I was then blocked on my account within the hour. Apologies for the long review but really unsatisfied.

To the person in question. I find this review to be very rude indeed aswel as being so untrue. How someone can make things up is beyond me.
As mentioned I was arranging to set childcare inplace for 2 days a week the person in question put on this review I could only provide one day which is so untrue. I was messaged by this parent saying her mum would have her son on Wednesday's of each week so only Fridays was required. I let the parent know I could not at present start Fridays due to having another under one in the setting and stated I could not provide childcare for two of that age at any one time. I did also mention I would ask the other parent if her work training days was flexible to a Wed due to this parent no longer requiring this day. I got a reply from the current parent to say her manager had changer her training day to a Wed this was to commence my next working day which was the day of this parents settling in/meeting day. I informed this parent I could not meet due to working as this would be a safeguarding issue. I had a reply from the new parent to say the following week would be okay to commence childcare.
There was also other issues from this parent bombarding me with messages at any time of the day and expected me to instantly reply even if I was working, my day off or at an unsociable hour or out with family. I replied I would reply to any further messages on my next working day before work commenced. But put bad communication on this review. I have since had all gradings removed.
Then there was another issue from this parent with my booked in /payed for First Aid course that was due i had to attend a full day online and a full day practical at the venue. Which this parent bypassed still thinking I would be able to have her child on a meet/settling in day and just drop my course as if this didn't bother her. I replied I can't cancel my training days with it being an Ofsted statutory requirement which this person should know since she had previously worked in childcare.
There was no consideration or reasoning from this parent at all when she knew I was very busy. I gave the parent alternate dates and times to meet around my work even on my day off which was not good enough.
My last message from the parent was a very rude one which was why I blocked this person as it was unacceptable.
Due to the parent going back on their word to meet/start the following Fri I messaged to say I had changed another parents training day for nothing which was a waste of my time to accommodate this parents child, but then I mentioned it gave my Fridays off in the meantime after the morning school run with this parent no longer requiring childcare. But went to the trouble in writing up a review that was so untrue. Which is why I have said my piece which is the truth behind all of this.
I have not had an unsatisfied customer in all the 22 years of working. I have over 35+ excellent reviews and years of experience abd qualifications that is all available to read on my profile. This says everything about how committed, reliable and passionate I am about my work. But there has to be one!
Good luck moving forward and I hope you find the childcare you are looking for as my setting is not for you. Even though we had not met or set any childcare inplace.
Our son only attended for a brief time but was happy in the setting snd well looked after.

My 1 year old has been going to dawn for a while and dawn made it such an easy process, my boy loves going and is so excited to see her each day, with updates throughout the day and plenty of notice with changes, couldn’t recommend enough, was an absolute pleasure leaving my boy with dawn

Dawn is the perfect childminder. My 2 year old was very happy with her. Easy to talk to, gave me regular updates during the day. Would reccommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Dawn.

My 3 year old son has been attending Riggles and Giggles for a few months now. With it being a daunting first time experience to leave a child in somebody else's care Dawn has been perfect and quickly put my mind at ease with great communication and pictures of my son whilst at the setting.
Dawn accommodates our needs with early morning starts at 6:30am and drops my son at nursery for the time he needs to be there.
My son isn't a morning person so at 6:30am he is a bit grumpy when dropping him off but as soon as he enters the settings he is happily playing with the toys provided by Dawn which he loves.
I couldn't recommend Riggles and Giggles enough, great childminder!
