About Me
My name is Lin and I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Forest Hill. I live with my husband William and I have two grown up sons Joshua and Joseph.
As a childminder, I ensure that the children in my care feel safe, secure, warm and happy. I provide a wide range of fun activities, both indoors and outdoors to help stimulate the children's minds in their development.
Regular Outing Activities include trips to:
o The local Horniman Museum
o Local Playgrounds
o Sandpits
o Nature and woods walks
o The Local Libraries
o Playgroups in the Lewisham and Southwark boroughs
o Getting together with other childminders for children’s social development.
My Experience
I started childminding in 2012 and have always found caring for children enjoyable and rewarding.
My commitment is to ensure every child in my care feels happy and supported, giving parents peace of mind

Crèche work (Foundation Stage),

I will have a vacancy from September 2024
I am available Monday till Thursday from 8am to 6pm (flexibility can be discussed on an individual basis).

I cannot speak highly enough of Lin, looked after our son from age 1 - 3. She instantly made me feel at ease and my son clearly felt the same. He settled happily in her lovely setting where she provides warm and loving care to the children. She has a great routine which is good for the children and ensures they are well rested and happy. Lin takes the children out all the time to places like the Horniman, local libraries, parks and farms. They celebrate festivals throughout the year and have a host of lovely activities like growing vegetables, crafts and cookery. I couldn’t have dreamed of a happier start for our little boy. We are still in touch and I hope will be friends for life. Lin has become a very special person to our family and we are so grateful for the role she played in caring for our son.

Lin has looked after both of our daughters from age 1-3 and her care has always been excellent. She maintains the perfect balance of having clear routines for the children with attending to their individual needs. Both our daughters have always been happy with Lin. She is calm, gentle and warm. She t addles the children on trips out most mornings and regularly meets up with other childminders or to a playgroup so the children get the security of a small group (3 children) and home-based setting with opportunities to socialise with a wider group. My daughters have always slept well and eaten well with Lin and knowing they are well cared for and in a great setting has been wonderful in helping them develop and get ready for preschool. I would highly recommend Lin.

Lin looked after our daughter from age 1 - 2.5. We were so happy to have found a kind, caring, and fun childminder for our daughter. She is so happy every day when she's dropped off! Lin provides a detailed daily diary, is very organised, and takes lovely photos. We would strongly recommend Lin to any parent.

Lin is wonderfully warm and kind, gentle but firm with the children when needed, accommodating with her timings, an amazing cook, and just simply an all-round gem and a real find for our family in the past five years.
Lin took care of my eldest from when he was 7 months old to 3, and now my youngest is also with her. She has lots of experience and I never worry about how the children are doing when they are with her.
She has a great routine going for the children, with activities in the morning and nap time in the afternoon. in fact my eldest (5) may still nap at hers during 'quiet time' when he occasionally visits! She always prepares healthy, balanced meals for the kids, and communicates all they've done in a daily diary and whatsapp messages when necessary.
She is more like family than anything and I struggled with the much less personal approach at nurseries when my son 'graduated' from hers to pre-school!
We would recommend Lin to anyone and happy to answer any questions about our experience.

We had enrolled in a couple of local nurseries for our daughter but when the time came there were no spaces so we were at a bit of a loss. Fortunately a friend of ours recommend Lin and we are so glad she did. As I say, our original intention was for our daughter to go to nursery, but we are so glad she spent two years with Lin from 1 to 3. The personal contact that she got from Lin in a group with 2 other children was irreplaceable, and Lin is such a wonderful person. My daughter was so happy there, and it has enhanced her development so much. We have also made a life long friend. Thank you Lin Lin...
