Avoid. Extremely unprofessional.

My Daughter went to this "Childminder" and She was lazy, very unprofessional, argumentative and constantly sent my Daughter home citing that Daughter was unwell on more than one occasion, even though the second time in particular was not the case, and Ofsted were not informed when an apparent "contagious illness" occurred in her setting.

We queried it and we received an argumentative response and She threatened to "end the contract".

We had to ask for pictures on more than one occasion of my Daughter's daily updates, often they were sent late at night which was unprofessional and there was no learning journey. My Daughter learned absolutely nothing and all of the pictures that we were sent were all the same, and looked forced.

I emailed this person making the decision to remove my Daughter from her "care". I gave four weeks notice as per the contract but this person terminated the contract immediately, even though we had paid up until the end of January.

I am owed for five days care and the refundable deposit which She said that She is not paying. I am taking this legally further.

Very Happy

My two sons aged 6 and 9, have been going to Amy before and after school twice a week, for the past 6 months. They are happy to attend and come out happy at the end of their time with Amy. She provides a fun setting for them to attend after school, with lots of snacks and laughs had with the other children in the setting. She has been no end of help, especially so when I have had to move the days the boys attend or add extra days. She also clearly communicates any issues or concerns she may have.

Excellent.

Amy has looked after my son on many occasions now, and every time he’s come out full of joy, and eager to go back again.
Every time he goes he’s had lots to tell me about what they’ve done and all the games that they’ve played, and all the fun they’ve had.

I also have to add I’m very happy with how Amy is operating her setting within the current government guidelines making me as a parent feel very at ease.

I have found Amy to be very honest, and reliable and I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful childcare

Amy is a wonderful child minder who has been amazing in with our little girl. She is very flexible with days needed and very reliable informing us immediately if any changes are needed. We are so happy we found her :D

Delightful and caring

Amy has been nothing but a blessing to my family she has provided amazing childcare for my son so much so he always asks to go back, she has built such a great relationship with him. Amy has also been brilliant when it came to changes with my working hours and any other needs we have had she has met and exceeded.. with the current situation she has provided 5 star care and protection. Thank you

Excellent

Amy looks after my son before school and takes him to school for me at least 3 times a week. My son absolutely loves Amy and enjoys going there. Amy is great at communication,especially in these uncertain times, is very helpful and willing to go that extra mile. Can ask for more really.

Unreliable

In the space of 6 weeks there were 3 separate occasions where she was unable or unwilling to provide childcare, causing either myself or my spouse to leave work early. On the third and final time, when we asked for a refund for days not provided she claimed to be waiting for legal advice and has since refused all correspondence.
