My Summary
About Me
I am a certified Sleep & Feeding Consultant and Maternity Nurse based in West London. My confidence, experience and dedication to my work has created a warm, safe and nurturing environments for children to develop. Using my wealth of experience I have helped many families overcome challenges by teaching them techniques I have honed over numerous years.
As a parent myself and an Ofsted Registered Childminder for 15 years I have developed strong skills in supporting young children and a passion for providing the best characteristics for them.
From our time together you will feel confident to comfortably provide a healthy routine for your child. Even so, with my primary focus on your baby, I will always prioritise parents and their uncertainties. My flexible approach to routines allows me to adapt my practices to the parents' beliefs as this is important in a child's development.
My Experience
With 15 years of experience in childminding, I decided to change my career to Maternity Nursing which I have found both fulfiling and exciting. My work in childminding has given me the experience, knowledge and empathy to follow a path in maternity consultancy. Because of this I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked and I have first aid training. The time from pregnancy into the weeks of a newborn baby's life can be incredibly special yet challenging. This is why it is important to have qualified, compassionate and dedicated professional support from an experienced Paediatric Nurse and Early Childhood Specialist.
I understand that sleep is essential for everyone and especially for an infants' development and well being. My advanced qualifications in sleep training, breastfeeding and post-natal care enable me to share my in-depth knowledge with parents and benefit babies. I practice gentle sleep techniques to set good sleep routines from early on. I can make the transition easier and more manageable for the whole family by providing the parents with knowledge and skills to build confidence in taking care of their baby. My experience in bathing, breastfeeding and a range of others can be tailored to each individual family's needs. I am dedicated to ensuring that new parents can provide the strongest foundations for a healthy, stable and bright family future together with their newborn.
I am a highly qualified and experienced specialist dedicated to the care and well being of newborn babies. I choose to be a maternity nurse to support caring for and teaching new parents how to care for their newborn who would need guidance.
I look after the baby to ensure the parents, especially mummy recovery from the birth as the needed rest is much appreciated. I also guide them through all aspects of caring for their precious new addition to the family. Whether the baby is breast or bottle fed .
I am a specialist sleep consultant ( help with sleep routine and allow the parents to rest during this period) I do video calls/phone.
I am also a specialist in breastfeeding.
As a maternity nurse I have the knowledge in establishing and maintaining sleep and feeding routine. To show how it is best to clean and change the baby and what to do or what to use if the baby has any unfavorable symptoms-Such as nappy rash .
I will ensure parents know how best they should hold and lay down the baby, also ensure the room temperature is correct and be able to guide feeding whether the mother has decided to breastfeed or bottle feed .
Whether it be sore nipples , limited milk production, breast engagement, mastitis, baby not latching on properly, a blocked milk duct , tongue tied baby etc.
I try to give advice on which steps to take and how quickly they need to be taken to minimize stress.
The best aspect of my job is the stronger connection I have with the family, to create a unique bond. I have a positive attitude towards my work - an efficient problem solver , hard working and honest person.

Patricia was our maternity nurse for 8 weeks after the arrival of our daughter, and she was an incredible support, especially as I was recovering from a c-section. Her extensive experience with newborns was invaluable, as she guided me through various aspects of baby care, helping me become more confident and comfortable as a new mom. Patricia's calm and reassuring presence made a significant difference during those early weeks, and we are grateful for her expertise and support.
A hugely experienced and compassionate maternity nurse who treats your baby like her own.
Patricia has been a delight in the 6 weeks we have had her helping us. Brilliant with the babies, and also able to fit in around all family members (and become one of the family!).
She is very experienced, and treats each baby as an individual, working out what is best for them and the setting they are in.
She helped us in the early days of having our twins at home and we couldn't have done it without her.
She is also great at teaching the parents, allowing us to get experienced with our first babies in a safe environment.
I want to share a glowing review about Patricia, who played an invaluable role during the first week of our baby's birth. Patricia is an absolute gem! Her kind and gentle nature immediately put us at ease during such a crucial and overwhelming time.
Not only did Patricia provide excellent care for our baby, but she also went above and beyond to help with household tasks. Her willingness to assist with cleaning and organizing made a world of difference and allowed us to focus on bonding with our newborn.
Patricia's soft and caring demeanor made her an integral part of our family during that first week. We are incredibly grateful for her support, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate and dedicated caregiver. Thank you, Patricia, for being such a wonderful presence in our lives during this special time!
