From the moment our, then 6 month old, met Carla and Luis he smiled and giggled with them.
They go over and above to provide a safe space for each child to learn and develop at their own pace. They provide regular updates and we always look forward to seeing photos of what they have been up to and the lovely food they’ve had to eat.
Their nurturing, genuine and happy environment has helped our son develop into a lovely 3 year old who was easily able to adjust to his next step into a preschool setting. We would thoroughly recommend Carla and Luis and are grateful for the time our son has spent with them.

We would highly recommend Carla and Luis to all. Our 2 year old daughter absolutely loves going to childcare and always talks about Carla, Luis and the other children with great joy. Carla and Luis have created a fantastic safe setting for children to thrive. Their care, passion and love is clear to see and we see them as not only amazing Childminders but also great friends. We cannot complement and recon them enough. Truly amazing people and at what they do.

Cannot speak highly enough of Carla and Luiz. From the moment our sometimes difficult son started there they welcomed him as if he was one of their own. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they often accommodated us when we were unavoidably delayed due to work commitments, etc.
Always friendly and loving towards us and our son and even having left now he still speaks about Carla and Luiz lovingly which is testament to their qualities as both childminders and people in general.
They often added lovely personal touches to their service on occasions such as Christmas, Easter and Mother's day to name but a few. These extra bits and pieces make what they do even more special.
We cannot recommend them highly enough and you would have to go a long way to find a more lovingly wonderful pair to look after your children.

Both Carla and Luis are absolutely amazing. They have been looking after our daughter for over a year now and she loves spending time with them. Often asking about them even during weekends. They have a lovely set up in their home, huge variety of toys and games. They are often organising various activities such as painting, puzzles, singing, Christmas party and so much more. First weeks are always stressful for both kids and parents especially as our daughter was only one when started childcare, but Carla and Luis had a very personal approach to our daughter, allowing her as much time as she needed to settle down. Regular updates and pictures made it so much easier for us - parents. Communication is always on point and we are receiving daily updates on what our daughter had for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend CL Explorers, it’s a happy and safe place for kids! Carla and Luis - we can’t thank you enough <3

I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care and attention that Carla and Luis from CL Explorers have provided for my son, Caspar. Their dedication and warmth have truly made a lasting impression on our family.
From the moment Caspar joined CL Explorers, Carla, and Luis went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and secure in his new environment. Their genuine care and attention to detail have transformed Caspar's experience of being in a childcare setting.
Carla's nurturing approach is evident in every interaction. She takes the time to understand Caspar's needs and interests, creating an enriching environment for him. Her patience and kindness have played a pivotal role in fostering a sense of trust between Caspar and the learning environment. Caspar is so happy when I drop him off at CL Explorers he even shuts the door & says bye-bye! This makes me feel so happy that he is so happy with both Carla & Luis.
Luis, equally commendable, brings an infectious energy to the learning space. His sense of humor is amazing & Caspar loves him. Both Carla & Luis send videos of them playing with Caspar & photos with regular updates throughout the day. Caspar is always smiling which is so lovely to see. Sometimes when I go to pick him up he doesn't want to leave as he's had so much fun that day!
What sets Carla and Luis apart is their genuine commitment to the well-being of each child under their care. They go beyond the call of duty to ensure that Caspar's emotional and developmental needs are met. Their open communication and regular updates have provided us with a sense of comfort and confidence in Caspar's experience at CL Explorers.
Their caring and nurturing approach has created a positive and supportive atmosphere that has greatly contributed to Caspar's overall development.
If you are seeking a childcare program where your child's well-being and growth are at the forefront, I wholeheartedly recommend CL Explorers. They have exceeded our expectations, and we are truly grateful for the positive impact they have had on Caspar's early learning journey. We couldn't have picked a better couple to look after our son.

My daughter started at CL Explorers in September 2020, 6 months later than originally planned due to the pandemic, but Carla held the place for us. Her care and compassion was clear from the outset, as my daughter and I both found the transition from maternity leave into full time work and childcare hard. Carla did everything she could to make it easier for us, including sending me regular updates with pictures. She even rearranged the furniture in her living room to suit my little one's interests!
It wasn't long before the tears disappeared and my girl is now delighted when I tell her she is going to play at Carla's.
The setting is colourful, clean and child-centred, and Carla and Luis are efficient, flexible, supportive, friendly and very kind.
I would be delighted to recommend CL Explorers to anyone seeking childcare in the locale.

We are so pleased we found CL explorers and delighted with the care they provide our 15 month old daughter since she started in March. After visiting a few different childminders in the area, we were blown away by Carla’s personal and professional approach, and knew straight away that it was the right choice for us. Carla was very supportive with the transition of starting childcare (especially as our daughter had little contact with other adults/children due to being a lockdown baby) and already offered alternative vegetarian option at mealtimes which was a huge plus!
Our daughter has flourished in the home from home environment and her genuine care and enjoyment of looking after the children is clear to see. We feel like our daughter is being looked after by family

Carla and Luis are fantastic they have looked after our 2 year old son now for nearly a year. And he loves it.
Always so happy to run in. He has come on so much new words and learning something new every time he goes. He loves playing with the other children.
It’s a great environment for him. We are so happy to have found CL explorers and for them to have a place. Definitely 10/10 and more. If you read this and they have a place I’d take it without hesitation. They are very flexible and will help in anyway they can. They are the best childminders we found They will love and look after your child like their own.

My son started with CL Explorers Childcare in January. He was a lockdown baby, so hadn't been with anyone else other than at home with our family. Carla was so patient and kind whilst it took him a little while to settle, but now he quite happily walks in ready to play. She treats him like one of her own and I know he is so well looked after. She is really flexible and if we need an extra day here or there, she tries her best to help out in any way she can.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else looking for childcare.

Our son has been attending CL Explorers Childcare (Carla’s childminding service) for over two years now (from the ages of ~1yo - 3yo) and we’re so thankful that we found her. The thing we most appreciate about Carla is her genuine love and connection with each of the children. You can see how much she cares about them - and they absolutely adore her back. This means you feel like you’re leaving them with a member of the family whenever you drop them off. This care has given our son great confidence in her setting and he loves being there - usually walks straight in without looking back when we drop him off!
Carla is also a great partner for you as parents, whichever stage you are going through. When our son went through a fussy eating stage, we were able to discuss and agree and approach together. When we started potty training, Carla listened to our approach and adopted it when our son was at her setting.
Finally, we appreciate that Carla always does her utmost to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. We often have slightly strange hours that we need due to our working hours and she has always done her best to help us out.

We carefully looked at childcare for our wedding and decided to go with Carla because of the excellent reviews she has on here. She was new to wedding childcare but a lot of our special day was taken up by guests complimenting the outstanding service Carla and Fatima provided. Carla was wonderful and completely happy and confident in looking after a complete range of children (from less than 1 up to grumpy teenagers) and some quite demanding kdis at that! She went to alot of effort to bring arts and crafts and games to keep all ages busy and stimulated and happy.
We would both unreservedly recommend Carla for childcare and will be forever grateful for how hard she worked in making our wedding day so memorable.

I take my baby to Carla since she was 5 months old because from the moment I met her I knew my baby will have the love and attention that she needs when I'm at work. And she exceeded my expectations.
She is a very caring person and updates me through the day when I am missing my baby, she is flexible and always happy to help. She takes the children out and does activities and art crafts with them ( even I received crafts made for my baby, so sweet)
I think she is brilliant and I feel really happy that I chose her.

Carla is a child minder for my daughter 3 days a week. She does drop off and pick up to Folly Hill School and extra during the school holidays. Carla is fantastic and I cannot speak highly enough of her and the care she provides. From day 1 she has been caring and kind and helped my daughter feel at home. She is looked after in a home, relaxed environment which is something I wanted. Carla provides excellent, nutritional breakfast and dinner and activities for the children in her care. Deciding to place my daughter with Carla was the best decision and she is fantastic at caring for the children she looks after.

Carla is Fabian's first childminder. Fabian got on very well since the first day. She's well informed and easy going. My son can't take a nap on his own but Carla doesn't mind to comfort him to sleep. Some childminders a bit mind for picking up & dropping off from home, but Carla picked up from home and dropped him off with a very reasonable price of fuel. Thank you very much for taking care of Fabian. All the best!

Carla looks after our 10 month old son Thomas. He has not been with Carla for very long, but in the short time he has spent with her, we have seen a huge improvement in his development skills.
We are pleased with how quickly Thomas has settled in at Carla's house and how good Carla's own child is with him, as well as the other children who Carla looks after.
The house is always clean and tidy, and has a good selection of toys available for the children to play with.
Carla keeps us fully informed of the latest regulations that she has to adhere too, as well as providing a detailed handbook daily which provides a wealth of information from what Thomas has eaten that day to what activities he's done. Carla is very organised and provides us with a weekly planner so we know what Thomas will be doing.
As working parents, it is comforting to know that Thomas is being cared for in a safe & friendly environment, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Carla.

Carla has been looking after our son since 15 months old. Carla is his first childminder and he was unhappy to start with, but after 2 weeks of patience, perseverence and initiative from Carla he is now the happiest boy in the world. Carla writes a report in his diary keeping us up-to-date with his playing, activities, eating and any concerns. Carla is very well organised: she plans the whole week in advance, with trips to toddler groups, trips out, art activities, stories, etc. Carla is a warm person and easy to chat with and we trust her judgement. She is confident with what she is doing and obviously loves her job. Our son has benefitted from Carla's care.

I employed Carla as a housekeeper/nanny. Carla was with me for 2 years until we had to move house, and Carla also had her baby. She helped me with household duties and caring for my little boy from Newborn. Carla was also a real support to me, as after the birth, my husband deployed to Afghanistan for 7 months, so I was effectively a single mummy. She is a lovely lady, totally trustworthy and I miss her so very much. If only we lived in Farnham, then she would most definitely be helping me with a 2 year old and another Newborn! Verbal reference available.
