About Me
Hi i have been Ofsted registered since 2004, I am married 24 years I have two children my daughter twenty two years, and my son seventeen years. I also have a grandson 1 year also a dog she is a very friendly 3 year old and has grown up around the children. We live in a semi-detached house in Kenton with a large living area and conservatory off the back opening into the garden we are close to schools, shops, children's centres, library, soft play, swimming pools, parks, busses and metro. We enjoy days out to museums, parks, beach, farms, soft play, play groups, library, dog walking I have a large safe enclosed garden providing lots of play equipment inc swings, slides, seesaw, climbing frame, sand play, water play, ball games, skipping, hula hoops, bikes. cars, playhouse, trampoline and a greenhouse, the children enjoy taking a part in growing their own produce, Indoors i provide a wide range of toys and equipment that reflect our diverse society, books, jigsaws, puzzles, games, dolls, toys, music, painting, drawing, playdough, cooking and baking which all help develop children's understanding of people of different cultures and abilities, activities are well thought out to provide play opportunities in the development of children's emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities.
My Experience
I am very proud of my children of what they have achieved and are doing so well with their work. My daughter is working as a carer with people who have dementia. My son is studying psychology, computer science and geography in sixth form. I child mind children from three months to which ever age the parent requires childcare, I have also worked as a nanny previous to becoming a registered childminder. Working in close partnership with parents to meet their children's needs is extremely important. We as a family provide a friendly loving, caring, safe and secure environment so that children feel happy valued and respected as individuals.
I love my work very much it is challenging, demanding and rewarding this is what makes it enjoyable for me I have cared for lots of children for a number of years from babies, to see them grow and develop into happy confident and independent individuals makes my job worthwhile.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered childminder last inspection 2018 good, CRB checked enhanced, recently updated to DBS my husband is also CRB checked enhance, my daughter has a DBS and is also my assistant. I hold a Cache level 3 certificate in home based childcare, NVQ level 3 in childrens learning and development, safeguarding children, equality diversity and awareness, dissability awareness, Infant care practitioner award, level 2 award in food safety and catering, peadiatric first aid. My training is ongoing and up to date.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 7.30am until 6.00pm I am flexible with these times can start earlier or finish later if required through prior arrangement.
Available for school drop offs and pick ups, I also cover short and long term care. I provide free 15 hours government funding childcare for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
I do have vacancies available.
Drop offs and pick ups from Kenton Bar primary school, St Cuthberts primary school, Mountfield primary pick ups only and Kenton school.

Angela has been our Childminder for the past 10 years looking after both of our boys.
We couldn’t have chosen a more loving and caring person to look after our children. Our boys have been made to feel like family members, and they love all of the family like their own.
Angela not only cares for the boys in her own home, she regularly takes the boys to parks, museums and soft plays. At Christmas Angela invites the boys to parties, and also birthday parties for the family.
Angela has also provided last minute childcare for us when family members have taken ill without a second thought! I would not hesitate to recommend Angela to anybody. We really struck lucky finding you Angela! You are a friend for life!

Our child was in the care of Angela for almost 10 years and we were extremely happy with the services provided by her during that time.
She is a very professional and trustworthy childminder with great approach to children.
Angela provides a friendly and safe environment to the children where they can all enjoy various activities both indoor and outdoor. She also does regular pick ups and drop offs to the local schools.
Our son always felt at home while staying in Angela’s house and made strong bonds with her and other family members. She was always very helpful, supportive and kind.
Angela also provides a wide range of toys, books, games and other equipment to help children develop their physical, intellectual and cognitive skills. Children are encouraged to play together, spend time outddoor as well as visit various places.
I do not hesitate in recommending Angela’s excellent service to anyone who would like their children to be looked after in a caring, fun and professional environment.

Angela has looked after our daughter for the past year and a bit after we were put in the unfortunate position of having to urgently find a new childcare provider. Our needs were not simple with the most difficult requirement being that we often needed childcare for 13 hour days meaning early starts and late finishes. That, coupled with changing job patterns and irregular shifts made it hard to find someone to care for our daughter.
We are happy to say that we found Angela and have unquestionably appreciated her willingness, flexibility and caring attitude. She has a wonderful selection of toys and space in the back garden to play as well. With trips to various parks, and soft play and town visits to see museums and Christmas lights in the holidays. Angela has supported Harriet through potty training and provided her with a second home and family with whom she has been very happy to spend time.
Harriet has clearly enjoyed her time with Angela over the past year and has undoubtedly learned a lot, made friends, and had fun all at the same time. We really appreciate everything that Angela has done for us and feel that she has treated Harriet as though she is part of her family, with Harriet being involved in many activities and invited to a number of birthday parties with friends she has made whilst in Angela’s care.
Angela, thank you for everything you have done over the past year. We could not have done it without you.

I have enjoyed every minute of my time as Harriet's childminder she is a happy little girl who always puts a smile on your face. Angela has been looking after our son Oscar for over 3 years now and we can honestly say that we've been extremely happy with her services so far.
She's a friendly, caring and trustworthy person and our son loves spending time in her house. He enjoys playing in the garden, going out on trips, walking the dog and visiting local playgrounds or soft play centers. We know he is safe, fed and well-looked after during the day. Angela's also flexible with doing school runs, which is extremely important to us a full-time working parents.
Angela always goes an extra mile to please the kids and make them feel special, for example by buying them some treats, organising birthday parties, baking their favourite cakes or buying Christmas presents.. We cannot thank her enough for all help and support she offered to us throughout the years.
We can definitely recommend Angela to all parents who are looking for a professional and reliable childminder!

All the children who I care for now and in the past will always been a part of our family. the most important thing to me is that the children are happy.
0scar is certainly a happy little boy. who has been a joy to look after.
Our little boy has been with Angela for 3months now and he absolutely loves going there! Best decision we ever made!
Hes always happy and smiling when i go to collect him :) We would definately recommend Angela to anybody!!
