Lu and Roy took care of my little boy for just over 4 months and were simply wonderful. I was very anxious about the whole idea of leaving my baby with strangers but Lu and Roy are so kind and welcoming, the experience was much easier than anticipated. My son took a while to settle but eventually would arrive at their door each morning with a big smile on his face ready for the day ahead. The play room and garden are fully kitted out with everything you could imagine and my son loved the soft play! He would have 3 good meals a day, and Lu even managed to get him to eat broccoli! You can tell they truly care about each child in their setting and simply love what they do. We are so sad that we have had to leave due to a house move but if we do ever come back to Bromley, we will definitely be sending any future children their way. Thank you again!

Our 3 year old and we were so warmly welcomed to this family. They have been super accommodating and helpful. Nothing seems to me too much trouble. Mila absolutely loves coming to Lulu. She has never cried or refused going not even on day 1. She has been refusing food at home, but eats up well at Lulu's. She has definitely improved on the behavior too. Overall highly recommend.

When Lulu opens the door in the morning, she always does it with such love and passion for the children and families that you see first hand that she was born to do this profession. With three children being 6 and under we have had our children in quite a few childcare settings but we are so pleased we found Lulu and have her support to manage our rather challenging family logistics. Nothing we ask of her and Roy is ever too much or any trouble. They do our drop offs, pick ups and look after our littlest one with such care and enthusiasm that I am just so grateful we can call her part of our extended family. My baby daughter loves Lulu, smiles and stretches out her arms every time she sees her. Beyond the usual care requirements, which are performed to the highest standard, Lulu provides an exceptional amount of wisdom and hands on approach that has truly benefitted our family. My baby sleeps so well now and goes to sleep by herself which I put down to her exceptional routine at Lulu's. Every time she has a rash or sickness, Lulu is on hand to provide information from her vast experience as a childminder. There isnt anything she hasnt seen before or that she doesnt know. Above all, I really appreciate her communication channel, never shy to send us pictures and videos of our kids and tell us what theyve been up to. I don't take this for granted as it's not the same for every setting so I appreciate it even more that she takes the time out to update us on anything that is relevant or even just nice to know. We trust her with our precious gang and would do so again over and over. Both Lulu and Roy are extremely loyal and above all, reliable. Always putting their famlies' needs as their priority. Frankly, you will have to look hard to find such a hard working childcare duo as these two. Thank you Lulu and Roy for all you do.

We have been incredibly lucky to have found Louise (Lulu) and Roy as childminders for our two boys. Having a childminder before here my youngest would not settle in the environment leaving them refusing to look after him! On our first settling in day at their house my youngest settled straight away and I knew this was the place for my boys! They are such a massive help for us as we both work full time and shift work they are very flexible and understanding with changing pick up/drop off times etc to accommodate our family. They work with us to keep routines for the boys so they have stability. The boys love going to their house and it is like home from home for them. They are always doing fun activities and constantly engaging with the children. The boys have developed so much from going to their house in the last 18 months. Louise is always at the end of the phone for advice and assistance. They have been a great addition to our family and we couldn’t do it without them. I am so thankful for everything that they do!

Me and my partner are both working and have no family in London, which made raising our little daughter very complicated for us . Finding Lulu and Roy was a game changer and I’m so grateful and couldn’t recommend them enough!! They are genuinely warm and kind hearted people with immense love for children and animals ! Their concern for the little ones is real and doesn’t limit to the time they’re in there ! I’ve felt Lulu like a source of constant support and advice as a new mom and so happy we’ve found her ! Our daughter was only one when she started and learned so much from them- she is very polite and friendly and eats everything- I really hope she can be with this family as much as possible!

Lulu is a wonderfull childminder. Your heart is full of love and every child can fell this.
She is kind, funny, atentive and very professional. She is the best childminder my son could have. We are so gratefull for her to be allways so wonderful with our son and with us as well. After a terrible experience with another childminder, she is like a gift for us. And besides everything she cooks delicious and nutritive meals for the kids, what I think very important.
My son loves her and we all too!

I wanted to leave another review as it feels valuable for searching parents. Lu and Roy have looked after my daughter for nearly a year now and as a family we have enjoyed every minute. We recently experienced an incident which meant my daughter needed to be taken to hospital. The way the whole thing was dealt with by Lu and Roy was outstanding. They care for your children as if they are your own and I really don’t believe you can ask for more than that.
We trust them both implicitly, so much so they will be looking after our latest addition next September when I head back to work. Repeat custom says volumes! Both Lu and Roy are genuinely two of the nicest, most caring individuals I have met and as a family we feel very lucky to have them in our lives!

Our previous childcare closed down suddenly so we had to find alternative childcare elsewhere and we are so lucky that we found Lulu and Roy. Our 2 year old has now been here for 6 months and loves every minute. His language skills have developed massively and I have noticed an increase in confidence around other children. Lulu and Roy are down to earth and so caring there practically like an extended family.

Louise (Lu) and Roy are perfect that I have been looking for in a childminder. My daughter Aaradhya was 14 months when we started at Lu in October 2021, as you can imagine, this was a hugely anxious time, as she had very little contact with other children or adults prior to this point due to COVID. I was torn between nursery and a childminder. After a short conversation with a few people locally, and after speaking to Lu and Roy, we knew this was the right place for her. Because of being a pampered Covid baby, Aaradhya was not easy to settle from first day she went. But Lu was fantastic in helping her settle. She went above and beyond and constantly posted photos/ videos up so we can see how she is doing. Lu helped her settle with patience and gave us as many settling sessions as we needed. She creates a fun and educational environment and is very attentive to development opportunities and logs these, so I never feel I miss out on important milestones. They’re very educational and fun. In a very short amount of time of attending here Aaradhya is already able to do so much more. She began walking, she can draw on a piece of paper, and confidently climb on and off of toys and stairs, can eat independently and is soo good at table etiquettes. She couldn’t do all this before, and I feel I couldn't have taught her all this better. I’m so excited for Aaradhya’s future at this fantastic setting. Lu and Roy are both very kind, patient and fantastic childminders. I am very glad and lucky that we found them. I’ll always be grateful for how lovely they both are.
I look forward to all of the other sweet things she is going to learn and do here in the future. Thanks for making this so easy.

Lou has been looking after my daughter since she was 8 months old. Now, aged 3 we are beginning the process of transitioning her to a preschool setting. As a Solo parent with little support around, it was imperative that my daughters early years were spent in a nurturing and loving environment that would be akin to my own home and core values as a parent, a home from home.
I first met Lou when I was pregnant and again with my daughter when she was a few months old and I knew she was the right choice for us. Over 2 years later and I have absolutely no regrets about this decision. My Daughter loves spending time with her and has developed into a smart and funny little girl under her care. Lou & Roy really see her as part of their family and us them.
Lou came to the rescue when my daughter had to go into hospital with tonsillitis, and has been a great help, offering respite care when I’ve needed it most. She truly has my daughters best interest at heart and is always on hand to offer help and advice. Choosing the right childcare can be a minefield but honestly Lou was the best decision and I could not recommend her highly enough if you are in the process of looking for your own child. They really go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy & well cared for in an inclusive and positive environment.

Lu and Roy have been nothing but wonderful from the moment we first met. At the time of our initial meeting Lu didn’t have the space, but after meeting and seeing how the kids responded we snatched her hand off when a space became available! It was meant to be!
Lu and Roy have always been super accommodating, taking my 3 yr son on a Thursday too. My daughter settled quickly and within the first few days we had no tears and she was waving bye, a testament to the lovely environment and how comfortable the children feel. I love the home from home vibe and the children are always doing something like baking. The biggest review I see is the children at pick up, my son and daughter are always happy, my son the biggest smile and asks me when he is going back to Lu’s. You can’t say much better than that!
Thank you both Lu and Roy for making my return to work so seamless and giving me one less thing to worry about!

We came across Lu and Roy’s profile when looking for a childminder at the last minute, due to a previous one falling through. They were so understanding and really helped in anyway they could as we needed to make arrangements quite quickly.
My son was 9 months at the time (13months now) and giving the current situation with covid it was a nerve racking experience handing my son over to someone new, but we clicked straight away and we instantly felt comfortable.
Since then I can’t help but feel it was meant to be! They are both amazing people, so kind and genuine. They are such a lovely family and provide a fun educational environment for all the children... plus on occasions also making us dinner to take home! Lasagna is delicious by the way!. My son has been thriving ever since being in their care, he absolutely loves going to them ( probably more than being at home) and they really do feel like extended family. We can go to work with ease knowing our son is safe and having fun with friends.
Quite early into going to Lu and Roy’s my son was diagnosed with Focal epilepsy, which means he can have unusual types of seizures which has been scary for us all, but Lu and Roy have been great in reassuring us with their experience whilst also being extremely supportive.
I could go on forever describing how brilliant they are, but we are so grateful to have found them.

We started with Lulu when my son was only 9 months old and now he is 2 yrs and 6 months,Lulu and Roy incredibly cared for my son. They create a fun and educational environment for all the kids and attentive to developmental opportunities.Lulu is caring and patient and my son is so at home coming to her house every weekday. I’m glad we’ve met them.

We find this amazing place for my daughter 1 year ago. My daughter was 9 months old when we start with Her. Even the first 2 -3 days She falling love with the place and this amazing people. We really lucky to find them. Of u no wanna worry never your child this is the place for you.

My wife and I shared the same concerns all parents will have when searching for and selecting a suitable childminder. Will our child be safe, happy, nurtured etc. There is obviously no bigger decision or leap of faith than who to leave your child with. Luckily all concerns were soon alleviated when we first discovered Lu and Roy and since then, as we have watched our happy little girl grow. We cannot believe how lucky we have been to find such amazing childminders right on our doorstep.
Our daughter has flourished within their care and loves going there. She never cries when we drop her off, in fact quite the opposite. We have watched her develop in many ways and are so grateful that we can go to work knowing that she is happy, safe and extremely contented.
Ahead of making our choice we met with a few childminders, all of which were very nice. However, there was something special about the feeling we had when we met Lu and Roy, and our gut feeling was that this was the perfect fit for our daughter.
Unfortunately, our daughter has had some health issues meaning she requires both regular physio and exercises. Both of which have been no trouble to Lu who seems to have made it her personal goal to help our daughter in any way she can. Lu has been actively engaged in physio sessions and has helped our daughter no end through carrying out the regular exercises she requires to help her. Both her and Roy have gone well over and above the duty of care and we cannot thank them enough.

I struggle to find the words to describe how wonderful Lulu is. My daughter started going to her around her first birthday and is now 28 months. She has never cried when I have dropped her off, not once. She absolutely loves it at Lulu’s which says it all. Lulu is so gentle and kind and treats my daughter like her own. I really value Lulu’s advice - she is understanding and flexible at all times.
I didn’t believe that I would ever find someone that I trusted so much to care for my daughter. It is such a relief to go to work without having to worry at all. I can’t recommend Lulu and Roy enough. We are moving away from the area soon and will be devastated to leave Lulu.

My 3 year old started going after our nanny had to leave suddenly. He settled in immediately and Lu was so flexible as we tried to manage a new routine. When nursery was closed for Chistmas school holidays we were able to up his hours, when I forgot to pick him up from nursery (baby brain) she went to get him from nursery and if I was delayed in getting back from London and was late, again no issue.
Jasper ate really well and was really happy there.

My two children have been going to Lou & Roy’s for a year now.
My little girl was only 9 months when she started going to Lous and my other child was 2. Both of them settled in straight away and Lou was great at keeping me updated all through the day while they were settling.
I was really stressing about going back to work and leaving the kids but with Lou and Roy I know I can go to work and don’t have any worries about my kids at all.
My children love going to Lou and Roy’s and are often so excited to go in and get their day started they don’t bother saying bye to me! There has never been a day that my kids haven’t wanted to go and they often ask me if they can go there at the weekend.
My kids have also learnt a lot since being with Lou and have plenty to do and tell me about.
I couldn’t ask for better support as the kids go through different milestones.
Lou and Roy are so friendly and easy to talk to that they feel like good friends and the kids absolutely adore them. I feel so lucky to have found them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

My daughter is nearly 2 and been at Lu’s since May 2017 . I couldn’t have found the perfect setting for my daughter she loves it and is coming on so well . My 8 year old son also attends LuLus after school and during school holidays , which he enjoys as he can play outside in the garden , play board games with the other children and can also sit in a quiet area and complete homework .
Lu & Roy are great with the children and provide a lovely warm , cosy home from home environment. With homemade meals daily that the children love.
The playroom has a great range of toys for all ages . My daughter enjoys arts & crafts , cooking and lots of learning through play . All the alcove has delveloped my daughter into a very confident young toddler . The garden is a fantastic space for the children especially in the summer months were the children spend time playing in water , sand , soft play area and with ride ons .
My daughter settled straight into Lus with no tears ever , which is great for a parent to see , she loves them and had a great bond with them just like a family member which they have become , they are always there to help out with any concerns . I am always kept up to date with what my daughter as eaten . Sleeps etc via the diary that is sent home after everyday . Which is great .
I highly recommend Lu & Roy .

My son has been cared for by Lulu and Roy for three and a half years now and he regards them as family. They take him after school most days and care for him during the holidays when I need it. We are blessed to have them in our lives. As a single working parent I couldn’t do without them, their flexibility and support. For example, They have accommodated and supported us during our changing circumstances; I always know I don’t need to worry if the trains are running late and they will help me out at the last minute if they have room.
They care for children of varying ages and abilities (my son has developmental delay and hearing loss) and they encourage good relationships between them all. My boy loves it there, he is a rock star to the younger children, whom he loves, and always seems to be having fun. When the weathers good I can never get him to leave because he's having to much fun in their garden with all the other children.
At the end of each day I know my boy is safe, happy, well fed and ready for the ritual of bedtime.

My 2 year old daughter has been attending Lulu's 3 days a week since October 2017 and I am so happy with the setting and would highly recommend it. Some of the following reasons are why:
Lulu and Roy provide such a welcoming environment for the children in their care which is always clean and tidy. The toy room has an abundance of toys, including soft play, but is always organised. They have a fantastic garden setup which they use as much as possible. They also plan many fun activities such as baking, messy play and arts and crafts. My daughter has really developed her social skills and has learnt to share as a result of this setup and is really thriving in this environment.
Lulu and Roy are focused on my daughters educational development not just because they follow the EYFS curriculum, which they do, but because they have a genuine interest and passion for the individual needs of the children in their care which comes across very naturally.
As well as completing the daily diary Lulu encourages open communication between myself and her on a daily basis which I really value. She is very responsive to any questions I have ever had and is always available if needed.
My daughter has breakfast, lunch and dinner at Lulus and has developed a real love for her food since attending. The meals are all home made and healthy with a good variety.
My daughter loves going to Lulu's and is really thriving there. I would highly recommend it.

Louise looks after my 3 little girls. I have a daughter age 3 and 2 year old twins. They absolutely love going to lulu's. one of my twins has social and communication difficulties which was such a concern for me as I was worried she would not settle in any other environment. She does not like new people and will never let other people near her but I have been shocked at how well she has took to Louise. She even cuddles her. Louise is patient and great with children and she has earned my daughters trust. I would high recommend her. My other girls love her and also love her husband Roy. I am so glad I picked them for my girls.

Lulu has looked after our son for about a year and when our family decided to move abroad we were all devastated to have to take him out of her care.
Our little one started at Lulu's when he was a year old and during the 12 months in her care he developed into an independent and active toddler with great social skills, imagination and an advanced vocabulary. A lot of this is due to Lulu's unwavering passion, energy and commitment to child development, and her determination to expose children to so many different activities and experiences, from painting and pottery to gardening, water play, music and even circus events.
Aside from his development, our son absolutely adored Lulu and we are immensely grateful to her for her unreserved support during the last 12 months, for always providing good advice and for just being a loving human being when our son needed one.
I know it will be very hard, if not impossible to replace Lulu in our new home abroad, but I am sure that my son will benefit from all these learnings and the bond he created with her for years to come.

My little boy has been with Lu and Roy from the age of 10 months to almost 3 years old.
They provided a safe, loving and educational environment for Aiden and he really enjoyed going there.
He was always surrounded by both younger and older kids which I loved.
Lu and Roy take them to loads of play groups, parks and adventures and make an effort to show them new experiences.
Their home is set out like a pre-school with a brilliant play room and garden with more than enough entertainment. They really go all out to make sure their little ones are happy and developing.
They provide home cooked food and my little one loves it! He eats much better there than at home! Salmon and broccoli? There's no way I could get him to eat that!
Lu provides regular updates on their progress and raises any issues quickly, working together with parents to help.
Lu and Roy have become part of the family and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as childminders.

I is coming up to my last week with this family , and it's hard to think that he won't be knocking on my door every morning ,lifting up my letter box and saying "Lulu I here "
I will miss him , his laugh , his lovely little face when I tell him how good he is .
He has been a pleasure to care for .
Lu and Roy are brilliant with Aiden. They give him loads of love, help him with his development by providing lots of stimulation and opportunity to learn. Their house is very safe and comfortable for Aiden with a brilliant play room and outside area. They are constantly busy with different play groups and activities and kids coming and going which Aiden loves.
Lu and Roy provide Aiden with a variety of foods.
As Aiden gets older he is constantly challenged and allowed to develop at his own pace and Lu updates me with what is happening.
I would really recommend them! Once you meet them you'll love them as much as us.

I have used ABC Lulu Kiddies Club recently in emergency child care situation. My daughter is 10 years old and she was really happy to spend the day with Lulu. They had plenty of activities for her. I was really happy for the fact that even though it was an emergency during summer holiday they were helpful. Thank you again for everything. Leda really enjoyed the day at your house.

Our son has been with Louise and Roy since April. We chose Louise and Roy after meeting a lot of childcare providers. We needed someone who would adapt to his vivacious personality whilst being able to effectively manage his severe food allergies. From the outset Louise and Roy exuded warmth and showed him a lot of loving. They have never been fazed by his problems.
They take him for regular activities and keep him busy through the day. They have been very understanding to our needs as working parents and help in any way they can.
Louise and Roy have been very receptive to all our suggestions and helped us in improving his feeding difficulties. We get a daily report on how he has done, and having updates through the day is very reassuring.
We know our son is very happy, well loved and well taken care of. I am able to go to work in peace knowing he is in safe hands.

We are Yorkshire based and had to attend a medical appointment in London with our oldest child. We required a child-minder for our younger child for 8 hours. Our child is profoundly autistic so we were very concerned. We arrived at a lovely home with an amazing atmosphere and were surrounded by happy children. I felt absolutely confident in leaving my little boy with Lulu. She had wisely requested information on my son beforehand so she knew his needs and was prepared. This is very reassuring as a parent of a child with additional needs. I would highly rec this child minder without a doubt. In fact, so difficult it is to find a carer to look after my son, I think we are going to move to Kent!

I have had a working relationship with Louise and Roy since 2011 when my daughter (now nearly 9) first was cared for by Louise.
They have looked after my daughter for the majority of the time since and in the last year they have become full carers in the daytime to my son (now 21 months.)
Roy and Louise have provided a safe and child friendly environment.
There is adequate gating throughout the house to keep the children safe and the utilisation of the back room as a play area plus dining area.
The meals retain a high standard.
Home work is enforced for older children and is performed at the tables.
The garden is also secure and child friendly.
It is important to note that they have invested in the children with the updating equipment and furniture so everything remains in good repair.
They both instil respect in all the children which makes for a good dynamic in the group and all the children care about each other.
If my children have an accident I am informed correctly.
As a parent I know my children are well provided and cared for

I have used ABC Lulu Kiddies Club on both a permanent basis and more recently in emergency child care situations (such as school industrial action days). I find the standard of care that my children (now 12, 7 and 4years old) have received over the years to be excellent and of a very high quality. They always have plenty of activities for all ages and have never been unhappy while there. I hope to be able to use ABC Lulu Kiddies Club for many years to come.

Lulu has been picking up and dropping off my son from school for two years. She has dealt brilliantly with his tantrums and gave me some helpful hints too! My job requires me to work on different days some weeks and she has been flexible and really accommodating.

Lulu has been taking care of my 7 year old son after school for over a year now. I am extremely happy with the quality of childcare that she provides, especially given the fact that my son has special needs. She strikes a very good balance between being professional and at the same time being warm and affectionate in a nice homely environment. My son is very happy to spend time after school there in the company of few other children and he sometimes even gets his homework done! I would highly recommend Lulu's as a childcare option.

I have been using Lulu as my child care provider since January for my 2 daughters upon my return to work. I can strongly recommend her as she provides a safe caring professional service in a home from home environment. my daughters are happy every day being taken to Lulu and i am confident and happy with the way she takes care of them and takes them to school promptly. she is friendly caring and professional childminder who always helps me if i need extra assistance with my daughters.

Our daughter started with Lulu when she began infant school in Sept 2013 and Lulu looks after and takes M to school 3 mornings a week. Our daughter loves spending time with Lulu (and the other children) and settled in really well. Lulu has created a warm, welcoming and fun environment in her home for the children. She is always able to help with childcare if needed after school and is an absolute star child minder!
